PCC will be holding a Supplier Engagement Event on the 15th May 2026 to promote the development of three frameworks and to provide information around how these are proposed to be structured alongside information around the procurement process and an opportunity for suppliers to provide your feedback. Mechanical and Electrical Framework Aimed at supporting effective management and maintenance of our assets, this framework will ensure statutory compliance, safety, value for money, consistent service delivery, and improved asset performance. It will cover areas such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, water systems, renewable energy, fire safety, electrical safety, security systems, and more. Repairs and Maintenance Framework This will provide a comprehensive and auditable approach to reactive repairs and maintenance for council-owned and managed assets. The focus will be on timely and efficient response, improved consistency, enhanced transparency, reduced asset downtime, and alignment with our broader asset management strategy. Covered areas include multi-trade maintenance, brickwork, carpentry, plastering, painting, flooring, glazing, roofing (under £25k), drainage, fencing, clearances, removals, and passive fire works (under £25k). The framework will be split down into smaller lots, encouraging all contractors to tender for there specialist areas, or provide a wider delivery by applying for multiple lots. We want the framework to be accessible for all contractors big or small and local to Peterborough and surrounding area.

Peterborough City Council require 24 high-quality demountable market stalls for use within Cathedral Square, Peterborough. The stalls will form an important part of the city centre public realm and market offer and must provide an appropriate balance between high-quality contemporary design, sensitivity to the historic setting, operational practicality, public and trader safety, durability, whole-life value, ease of assembly, efficient storage, weather resistance and flexibility for different market and event uses. The Pre-Market Engagement is looking to find answers to a set of questions to help guide the Council with the procurement process and the requirements.

Peterborough City Council is seeking expression of interests/pre-market engagement from experienced arts organisation's, Community Interest Company, artist collective or creative practice to design, manufacture and install a series of high-quality playful public realm structures within St John's Square, Peterborough. This forms part of the Council's Pride in Place Impact Fund programme and supports the wider Cathedral and St John's Square Vision Plan. The programme seeks to improve the quality, appearance and usability of key civic spaces, create a greener and more inclusive city centre, increase activity and dwell time, and support the wider regeneration of Peterborough's civic heart. The aim of this project is to design and deliver between four and six permanent playful public realm structures within St John's Square. The structures should encourage exploration, social interaction, informal play and moments of pause, while also functioning as high-quality pieces of public art, civic furniture and distinctive place-making features. The installations should invite people to sit, recline, climb, balance, gather, play informally, pause and spend longer within the square. They should appeal to a broad range of ages and abilities without creating a segregated or traditional children's play area.

Peterborough City Council is responsible for the management, maintenance and stewardship of its tree stock and woodland assets throughout the administrative boundary, in accordance with the Council's Trees and Woodlands Strategy. The Council intends to publish a procurement opportunity in September 2026 for the provision of Arboricultural Services across the city and so is undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to better understand the current arboricultural services market. Interested organisations are invited to participate in this exercise provide responses to a series of questions relating to their organisation, experience and capability. The information gathered will assist the Council in understanding the level of market interest in the opportunity, identifying industry best practices, and understanding experience of delivering similar contracts, particularly within the public sector.

Peterborough City Council is inviting potential providers to attend a market engagement event to help shape the future of independent voice and engagement for Adult Social Care in Peterborough. We want to hear from organisations with experience of listening to people, engaging communities, gathering insight, and ensuring that residents' voices influence how services are designed and improved. Your feedback will help us test our proposed approach and understand how the market could support a future service from April 2027 Current Context Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to deliver the statutory local Healthwatch function in line with the Health and Social Care Act. Under this arrangement Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough act as an independent champion for residents when it comes to health and social care services. They ensure local people's voices are heard and used to improve care across our communities. This contract expires in April 2027. Should it become law, the NHS Modernisation Bill will remove PCC's statutory duty to establish a local Healthwatch covering health and care services. Instead local authorities will have a broader duty in relation coproduction of social care services. The Future Service Despite these changes, PCC want to ensure that, from April 2027, there is still an independent voice for local people using Adult Social Care services. At a minimum, Key deliverables will be: - Providing a route for feedback into the council - Ensuring the voice of those impacted contributes to council decisions relating to Social Care. - Analysis and presentation of themes, creating a picture of local demand, priorities and areas for improvement - Support a range of partnership boards, focused on key local priorities and areas of need - Establish a visible, trusted presence in Peterborough. - Broad engagement of all people and communities in Peterborough, ensuring there is a representative voice - Establishing a strong feedback loop, where people are clear on the impact their voice is having Timeline PCC's existing contract with Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough expires of 31st March 2027.
