To establish our in‑house legal function, we require an SRA‑compliant case management system. We have assessed multiple providers and secured three quotes. Our preferred solution (LawVu) which is specifically tailored to In-House Legal teams has been endorsed subject to final sign‑off.
Sodali & Co Limited will support Orbit in the role of strategic communications advisers to provide the following scope of services relating to the planning and implementation of an issues management workshop:
Stage one:
• Creation of a corporate positioning statement that aligns with Orbit's vision
• A working session for Orbit and Sodali in London to:
o Review Orbit's business continuity plans (high level) and share lessons learnt from Perry St
o Discuss and agree potential issues scenarios (incident-based e.g. social media post/ rumour inciting hate, similar to Perry Street; a riot; incident requiring lockdown; health and safety incident such as a fire etc.)
o Discuss how Orbit would respond (operationally and reputationally) based on its existing business continuity plans
• The Sodali team to then work these findings up into a workshop to be held at Orbit's office in Coventry with its communications and Silver IMT teams to discuss how the company would respond
• The output from this session would then be developed into two workstreams: the creation of a specific section for Orbit's Issues Management Procedure (communications focused but with operational considerations), and recommendations for the various teams to implement
Stage two:
• Sodali to help design and run a scenario day with Silver IMT to test that the learnings have been factored into internal plans and to identify any gaps
Rightmove is the UK's largest online property portal and plays a crucial role in generating high‑quality leads for our sales teams across both private and shared ownership homes.
Between April and December 2025, Rightmove generated 2,422 leads, accounting for 20% of all Orbit Homes enquiries. Of these, 94 progressed to reservations. When compared with other online platforms, the leads from Rightmove consistently proved to be of higher quality, enabling our sales teams to achieve stronger conversion rates.
External Works surrounding Cottingham Drive, in Hellesdon. The works involve the refurbishment and refinishing of the communal areas at the Hellesdon estate. In total there are 7 areas, and consist of resurfacing, landscaping and improvements to fencing.
The Authority, is seeking to appoint a business partner to effectively and reliably deliver an
Out of Hours Call Centre Handling Service Provision.
This is for the handling of calls outside of the Authority’s own customer call centre operating
hours in regard to the portfolio of properties it owns and manages and shall typically relate to
the reporting of repairs, the triaging of such and associated raising of works orders with the
Authority’s appointed repairs contractor’s. The services to be provided under the contract
shall be in all respects of the quality or type as detailed in the Specification, Contract,
Schedules and Appendices.
Orbit Group have carried out a tender for the provision of a Contractor who will cover the provision of Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Safety Surveying, Engineering and Consultancy Services in compliance with the Regulatory Reform Order 2005, recognised ‘best practice’ and other relevant guidance, including PAS79. These works are detailed as follows:
• Type 1,2,3 and 4 Fire Risk Assessments
• FRAEWS (Fire Risk Appraisal of the External Wall)
• Review/produce Employer Fire Safety and Engineering project documents (retrospective fire strategies)
• Construction stage Fire Engineering Support if/when required
• Fire Engineering document review of Golden Thread BIM pilot project appertaining to 18mtr+ Buildings.
