EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR REPAIRS AND RENEWALS TO AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors to tender for the repair, renewal and extension of an existing air conditioning system at 64 High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight. Tendering will be a two stage process with selected contractors being asked to tender their overheads and profit against a Prime Cost as a stage 1 process. The successful contractor would then enter a Stage 2 process on a open book basis to include input on design and specification of components.
Estimated contract value = £35,000

Proposed return of tenders = 4th July 2022

Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors / shopfitters to tender for alterations to and refurbishment of an existing retail unit to form a community hub at 64 High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight. The property is an existing two storey retail unit with a gross internal area of approximately 319m². Alterations will provide exhibition spaces, meeting rooms, office accommodation and associated ancillary areas. The scheme includes the formation of a through floor opening in the existing first floor to create an atrium.

Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council is inviting tenders for the delivery of open-access youth provision in Newport for the period 2026-27.
The commissioned service will deliver youth sessions Tuesday to Friday, between 3:0pm and 7:0pm, based in Newport. Provision should include a varied weekly programme of activities alongside low-level mental health and wellbeing support, effective safeguarding arrangements, and appropriate signposting to specialist services where required.
This is a fixed-term commission for a transition year while the Council undertakes a wider review of youth provision and future delivery arrangements.
