National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) intends to establish a framework for the provision of Sulphur Hexafluoride (SF6) leak repair, leak reduction and preventative treatment services across its portfolio of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Gas Insulated Busbar (GIB) assets located at transmission substations throughout Great Britain. The framework is intended to increase the delivery of SF6 emissions reduction activities through the use of standardised contracting arrangements and approved repair methodologies. Appointed contractors will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, inspection and quality assurance of external, non-intrusive repair solutions that maintain asset integrity and operational performance while reducing or preventing SF6 leakage. Solutions may include permanent repairs, leak-rate reduction treatments, and preventative interventions, and will typically be required to be installed without taking equipment out of service where reasonably practicable. Contractors will be expected to provide technically robust, evidence-based solutions, operate under ISO 9001-compliant quality management systems, and fulfil the roles of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. The framework will enable NGET to respond efficiently to emerging SF6 emission reduction requirements across its transmission network. The anticipated term of the framework will be a 3-year initial term with 2 year extension options upon mutual agreement.

Provision of a flight-hour-based engine maintenance and support programme for Pratt & Whitney PW207D2 engines installed on Bell 429 aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, engine shop visits, life-limited component management, technical support and logistics coordination to maximise reliability, availability and continued airworthiness.

National Grid Electricity Transmission has a requirement for the provision of tractors with integrated heavy-duty winch systems, supplied as a single combined unit, for use in overhead electricity transmission line projects. The equipment will be used to support the construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and emergency restoration of overhead line networks. The tractors shall be capable of operating in varied terrain and weather conditions, including agricultural land, rough ground, forestry tracks, and remote access locations. The successful supplier will provide fully compliant, road-legal tractors where the tractor and winch are supplied, configured, and certified as one complete operational unit, together with all necessary ancillary equipment to enable safe and efficient pulling, tensioning, recovery, and material handling operations associated with overhead line works.

The Authority is seeking a suitably qualified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or authorised support provider to deliver a comprehensive helicopter component support and lifecycle management programme for its Bell 429 aircraft fleet. The service shall provide a flight-hour-based support solution designed to maximise aircraft availability, maintain airworthiness, reduce component ownership risk, and provide predictable maintenance expenditure through a fixed hourly charging mechanism.
