The objective of this procurement is to appoint Clerk of Works (CoW) services to oversee the construction stage of the Agora development. The CoW will be involved throughout the entire build stage and will work alongside the MKCC client team and their appointed construction partner.

Under the School Admissions Code 2021 and the School Admission Appeals Code 2022, all admission authorities must offer parents and carers the right to appeal when a school place application has been refused. Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC), as the admission authority for community and voluntary controlled schools within the city, has a statutory duty to ensure that the appeals process is administered in full compliance with these requirements.
MKCC must provide an impartial, efficient, and legally compliant appeals service, supporting parents and guardians through the process, coordinating appeal hearings, and ensuring that independent appeal panels are convened in accordance with statutory guidance. The service must also maintain accurate records and supply information required for statutory reporting and for responding to Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.

Milton Keynes City Council (the "Council") are out to tender for the provision of Charge Hub EV Chargers Concession Contract. Charge Hubs will be designed to complement both home charging and residential chargers by offering this on demand facility locally. It is Milton Keynes City Council’s target that every dwelling in Milton Keynes, with or without off-street parking, to be within a 5 minute drive of a Charge Hub in urban areas. The Council aim to deliver at least one Charge Hub per locality over the contract period – this will be demand driven. There are 169 localities across Milton Keynes, so the aim is to deliver 169 Charge Hubs over the contract period. Phase 1 will deliver around 40 Charge Hubs over a five year period. The Council proposes to enter into a concession contract that will be for a term of 25 years.

The Charities Hub is combination of the Arts Centre & Meeting Place, constructed circa 1971-72, and forms two thirds of the Galley Hill Local Centre.
The Local Centre is a steel framed building consisting of shops, the Arts Centre at Ground Floor and a Small Meeting Place located at first floor above the retail units, consisting of a function room with ancillary rooms.
The fabric of the buildings consists of external infill wall panels made up of brickwork and galvanised Steel crittal windows. The roofs at first floor are flat roofs, made of metal profile decking and a mineral felt membrane system. The first-floor slab, including the balcony roofs, is a beam and clay pot system with a concrete screed. The balcony areas, on both sides of the Meeting Place, have an asphalted surface.
Milton Keynes City Council is looking for a contractor to undertake the works to rebuild the parapet wall to the 1st floor of the Charities Hub in Galley Hill.
The works consist of:
• Submission of Building Control Application.
The Contractor shall prepare and submit all necessary documentation to Building Control to obtain approval prior to commencement of works.
• Parapet Wall Reconstruction
The Contractor shall undertake a full rebuild of the first‑floor parapet wall in accordance with the DSA proposed drawings and planning approval PLN/2025/0172.
• Abutment and Weathering Details
The Contractor shall form all necessary junction details at parapet abutments and installing flashing with a gutter at the parapet base to prevent water accumulation.
Works are to comply with BS standard and Building Control as per Pre Construction information – Appendix D.
Works are to start in August 26 with an anticipated 10-week contract. This is to allow works to be undertaken in a safe manner.
Works will be undertaken under a JCT Minor Works with Contractors Design 2024 edition.

Miton Keynes City Council (The Council) wishes to invite applications for admission to the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for supply and installation of Bus Stop Infrastructure. The Bus Stop Infrastructure DPS is required so that the delivery of the Council's capital programme of bus stop upgrade projects is supported by suitably qualified, experienced suppliers. Any contracts that are to be awarded via this DPS will be done so via the terms of this DPS. Tenders are expected to be run throughout the term of the DPS. Milton Keynes City Council Council is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System ("DPS") via www.sproc.net for the provision of Home Care Services for both Adults and Children within Milton Keynes. The Council is conducting the procurement via the "Light Touch Regime" as set out in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015).
The Dynamic purchasing system will be split into 2 lots, lot 1 will be for Adult Home Care Services and Lot 2 will be for Children's Home Care Services.

Home Care is the provision of person centred, personal care, enabling care and/or other services that are necessary to maintain a Service User's quality of life, enabling them to remain living in their own home and achieve their specified outcomes. Home Care is not about doing things for people in a way that increases dependency, but about supporting people to do things for themselves as far as they are able.
The Service will achieve a primary objective of enabling people in the Milton Keynes community to remain living at home for as long as possible and maintaining an excellent quality of life which meets the Service User's identified outcomes.
Home Care services will be available 365 (366 in leap years) days a year between the core hours of 6.30am and 10.30pm. Providers are required to confirm their flexibility
of timing outside of these core hours to reflect a person centred approach to the provision of night support services.
During the enrolment stage (via the DPS), provider will have an opportunity to select their core hours and flexible hours (overnight). The Council will collaborate with the Provider to ensure continuity of care and that the needs of the Service User are met.
