Melton Borough Council are seeking suppliers who are able to carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance of grounds maintenance equipment used by the Council's Environmental Maintenance Team. The objectives of this Contract are to: • Support the safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment used by Council staff • Maintain compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and guidance • Minimise equipment downtime and disruption to service delivery • Ensure equipment is maintained in line with manufacturer requirements • Provide value for money through effective planned maintenance and timely repairs • Extend the service life of Council owned equipment. Melton Borough Council requires the replacement of 19 existing pay and display machines located across off-street public car parks in Melton Mowbray. The existing machines were installed in 2012 and are nearing the end of their working lives. Current machines operate using the 3G network and are powered either by mains supply or solar power with battery storage. The Council is seeking a single provider to deliver a complete package covering the supply and installation of new machines, back office analytical support, contactless card payment processing, online payment support and processing, and reporting services, ticket supply, and ongoing repair, maintenance and servicing.

Melton Borough Council is seeking suppliers who are able to carry out a supported housing assessment to map the current availability of supported housing in Leicester City Council, the Leicestershire local housing authorities and Rutland County Council areas and assess the likely need (including current unmet need) for supported housing for a period of five years from the date that the strategy is published. The first strategy must be published by 31 March 2027. Leicester City Council, the Leicestershire local housing authorities and Rutland County Council are collaborating in partnership to jointly commission an assessment of supported housing need across their areas. This assessment must meet the requirements set out in the legislation and the scope of the Government guidance Local Supported Housing Strategies - GOV.UK, including the four‑step approach to needs assessment set out in the guidance. The assessment should include both quantitative and qualitative analysis, supported by robust stakeholder engagement.

Melton Borough Council (the Council) wishes to conduct market consultation with relevant service providers in relation to creation, management, and transfer of the Stockyard Project deliverables back into house provision over the next 12-18 months. (see anticipated needs section below) The engagement will support the development of future service delivery specification and provide an opportunity for service providers to contribute to the service and procurement design process.
