Melton Borough Council is seeking to appoint a contractor to design, supply on a hire basis, install, maintain, monitor and remove a high-quality festive lighting scheme that enhances the appearance of the town centre during the festive season, supports the local economy, increases visitor footfall and contributes positively to the visitor experience. Melton Borough Council are seeking suppliers who are able to carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance of grounds maintenance equipment used by the Council's Environmental Maintenance Team. The objectives of this Contract are to: • Support the safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment used by Council staff • Maintain compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and guidance • Minimise equipment downtime and disruption to service delivery • Ensure equipment is maintained in line with manufacturer requirements • Provide value for money through effective planned maintenance and timely repairs • Extend the service life of Council owned equipment. Melton Borough Council requires the replacement of 19 existing pay and display machines located across off-street public car parks in Melton Mowbray. The existing machines were installed in 2012 and are nearing the end of their working lives. Current machines operate using the 3G network and are powered either by mains supply or solar power with battery storage. The Council is seeking a single provider to deliver a complete package covering the supply and installation of new machines, back office analytical support, contactless card payment processing, online payment support and processing, and reporting services, ticket supply, and ongoing repair, maintenance and servicing.
