Tenders are invited for the supply of services for the provision of Treasury Management Advisory Services to Maldon District Council

Maldon District Council are looking to appoint an architect in respect of two projects we want to deliver in Burnham on Crouch •A new access walkway and houseboat berth (Project 1) •A new public access pier and pontoon (Project 2) Delivery of both projects must be concluded by end Q4 2024. We require an ARB certified architect preferably with Marine experience, who can work collaboratively with the Council to move our ideas to a workable solution which can be delivered within our budget but will also achieve our ambitious plans to implement structures which are also innovative and environmentally sustainable. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

Maldon District Council manage three cemeteries within the district. These are:  1.Maldon - London Road, Maldon CM9 6LJ (12.3-acre site)  2.Heybridge - Goldhanger Road, Heybridge, CM9 4QR (4.2-acre site)  3.Burnham on Crouch - Southminster Road, Burnham on Crouch, CM0 8QE (5.9-acre site)  All three cemeteries have traditional lawn sections and Gardens of Remembrance. Maldon and Burnham on Crouch also have natural burial areas where the grass is cut less frequently. Access to all sites is available during normal opening hours Monday to Sunday 08:00 - sunset or 20:00.   Maldon District Council are looking for a contractor for a three-year fixed term contract with the option of a one-year extension to provide a grounds maintenance service for all three of our cemeteries. The services will cover all aspects of grass cutting, hedge trimming, general grounds maintenance and weeding of the cremation beds and shrub beds.

Maldon District Council is looking to appoint a contractor for refurbishment works to Stephens House located in the Maldon area. The property has been unoccupied for over 12 months and has been purchased by the Council to be used as temporary accommodation for homeless families within the area. The building comprises 4 two bedroom flats with communal areas to the ground floor including a lounge area with kitchen and a separate disabled W/C facility. The service will cover the following sites, •Blackwater Leisure Centre (BLC) •Dengie Hundred Sports Centre (DHSC) In addition the management of the Splash Park in Promenade Park will be included. This tender process is in accordance with the 'Competitive Procedure with Negotiation' under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended from time to time)

Maldon District Council's requirement under this Contract is for a series of works at the Promenade Park located in Maldon, Essex. The works revolve around a feature known as the amphitheatre which is central within the Prom Park. The scheme of works will include decommission of both the amphitheatre bricked wings and then include a rebuild of both wings at a reduced level and with new materials. The top half of the amphitheatre will require landscaping and grading back to a natural surface state i.e. soil and turf. The works must be completed in such a way that the two wings (2 levels in height) are in keeping with the rest of the structure. The new wings must be reinforced and tidied into the banks to ensure longevity and structural safety
