Maldon District Council is looking to appoint a contractor for refurbishment works to Stephens House located in the Maldon area. The property has been unoccupied for over 12 months and has been purchased by the Council to be used as temporary accommodation for homeless families within the area. The building comprises 4 two bedroom flats with communal areas to the ground floor including a lounge area with kitchen and a separate disabled W/C facility. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
