Imperial War Museums (IWM) is inviting Potential Providers to participate in the Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ) stage for a Collections Care Framework for the provision of conservation services. Potential Providers shortlisted following the PSQ stage will be invited to submit a full tender response.
The framework will be divided into three Lots, reflecting the distinct conservation services required by IWM:
• Lot 1 – Art Conservation, including paintings, paper, objects/wooden objects and frames
• Lot 2 – Textiles
• Lot 3 – Collections Care Work, including condition surveys and reporting
Potential Providers may bid to provide services for one or more Lots.
At this stage, IWM is undertaking the Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ) stage only. Tender documents and subsequent stages of the procurement process will be issued to shortlisted Potential Providers in accordance with the procurement timetable published in the Information & Instructions document.
IWM is advertising a two-year framework agreement, with the option to extend by a further one-year period. Please note that the advertised value of each Lot anticipates that IWM will choose to use the extension.

The framework is intended to establish a panel of suitably experienced exhibition build contractors who can deliver high-quality, safe, reliable and cost-effective exhibition works across IWM’s estate. Potential Providers shortlisted following the PSQ stage will be invited to submit a full tender response.
The framework will be divided into two Lots, based on the anticipated value and scale of individual projects:
•Projects valued at under £200,000 (Lot 1)
•Projects valued at over £200,000 (Lot 2)
Potential Providers may bid for one or both Lots, subject to demonstrating that they have the appropriate capacity, capability, technical expertise and experience to deliver the relevant services. Each lot will be evaluated and awarded separately.

Marketing Design & Creative Services Framework at Imperial War Museums (IWM)
The marketing department at IWM seeks to establish a new Framework Agreement for the provision of marketing design and creative services, including creative ideation, graphic design, art working, video production, photography, illustration, and copywriting.
The Framework will consist of multiple Lots, as detailed below (with respective estimated value for each Lot over the four years of the Agreement):
•Lot 1 – Advertising and Brand Campaign Ideation and Design (£520,000)
•Lot 2 – Print Design and Art Working (£80,000)
•Lot 3 – Digital Design and Art Working (£100,000)
•Lot 4 – Copywriting (£40,000)
•Lot 5 – Illustration (£40,000)
•Lot 6 – Video Production (£150,000)
•Lot 7 – Photography (£50,000)
Each Lot is subject to a separate evaluation process and appointment onto one Lot does not guarantee an appointed to any other Lot. Potential Providers will be selected based on IWM's confidence in their ability to deliver the required services which will be determined through an application of the assessment methodology and award criteria outlined within the tender documents.
Potential Providers may bid for one Lot, a combination of Lots or all Lots.

IWM/2627/Ops/3508: DBS Checking Services for Imperial War Museums
IWM is tendering for the provision of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) screening solution, including candidate registration, data capture, identity verification, right to work checks, communication with candidates, secure hosting, retention and deletion of information, and reporting to IWM.
The service provider will be required to provide a secure online system that enables IWM to initiate, manage and monitor DBS screening checks for candidates. The solution must support both basic and enhanced screening levels, allow IWM to register candidates, and provide candidates with a clear and accessible process for submitting required information and documentation.
The solution must also support identity document upload, candidate-led submission of identification documents, right to work checks completed by an appropriate third-party partner, and international checks where a candidate has lived, worked or studied outside the UK. Where applicable, the solution must support checks using share codes for international passports outside the UK and Ireland.
IWM is advertising a three-year contract, with the option to extend by a further one-year period. Please note that the advertised value of the contract anticipates that IWM will choose to use the extension.
