Historic England is seeking an experienced external provider to design, deliver and continuously improve an organisation-wide Digital and AI Capability Programme as part of its AI Adoption workstream.
The programme aims to accelerate the responsible adoption of digital and AI technologies by increasing confidence and practical application across the workforce. The successful supplier will help assess current levels of digital and AI maturity, identify skill gaps, provide targeted learning opportunities and support sustainable behavior change.
Working closely with the AI Adoption Manager, Learning & Development team and key stakeholders, the supplier will deliver a scalable programme that supports organisational priorities and evolves in response to learner needs and developments in AI technology.

Historic England is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) to improve its understanding of the Digital Preservation System (DPS) marketplace and inform future procurement requirements.
The engagement is intended to:
• Increase understanding of available DPS solutions.
• Identify common and differentiating capabilities.
• Understand implementation approaches.
• Explore pricing and support models.
• Inform future procurement requirements.
