The trust is looking to procure a hosted electronic order communications (Ordercomms) system that will enable GPs to make direct electronic referrals to HIOWH’s Imaging department. this is pre-market engagement to support the development of a business case.

Following completion of preliminary market engagement, the Authority has reviewed its proposed procurement strategy for waste management services. The original intention was to procure a Total Managed Waste Service contract covering all waste streams. However, feedback received during market engagement, together with the Authority's subsequent review, has resulted in a revised approach to market. The Authority now intends to undertake four separate procurement exercises as follows: General, Recycling, Glass and Food Waste Services – procurement anticipated to be issued in Summer 2026. Clinical Waste Services – procurement anticipated to be issued in Summer 2026. Confidential Waste Services – procurement anticipated to be issued in Autumn 2026. WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Services – procurement anticipated to be issued in Winter 2026/27.
