NHS London Procurement Partnership (hosted by Guys and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust) are looking to procure the next iteration of the Estates & Facilities Consultancy Services Framework 4 to provide high quality estates & facilities consultancy services to the public sector. The Trust is re-procuring a Managed Service Agreement (MSA) for the provision of satellite dialysis and home haemodialysis services, seeking an independent dialysis provider to deliver the services and work in partnership with the Trust as a long-term strategic partner.

Construction Partner for a Community Diagnostic Centre. The concept scheme comprises of a 1,200m2 3-storey extension that shall include an MRI suite, CT scanner, X-ray, cardiac services, staff administrative space and a Women’s Health Hub. The Guys CHP (combined heat and power) engine has reached is effective end of life and needs to be replaced. The current machine is manufactured by Jenbacher. The intention is to replace the existing engine with a refurbished model with the current unit being taken in part exchange. Maintenance will be required for the whole life of the equipment.

Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital is currently undergoing design works of their Interventional Radiology (IR) expansion at Guy’s Hospital. The project includes the replacement of the existing aging machine alongside reconfiguration works to improve the functionality and capability of the current IR department. The project is situated on Level 3 in Guys Tower Wing and entails the upgrade of the existing IR suite including installation of a new imaging machine and a new ventilation system to achieve theatre-level standards. The scheme also includes the creation of a new recovery area, a new Fluoroscopy procedure room, as well as ancillary space. As this service is critical to Guys Hospital, to remain functional throughout the duration of the project a complex phasing strategy will need to be in place. The project will be procured via a two-stage tender process (PCSA followed by the main contract). The successful contractor will enter into a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA), at which point the design team will be novated to the contractor. Following novation, the contractor will assume full responsibility for progressing, developing, and completing the design during the PCSA stage, alongside development of the construction methodology, programme, phasing strategy, logistics, and cost plan. The contractor will then enter into the main works contract to deliver the construction phase. The contractor will be responsible for managing and submitting the required applications to the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), including demonstrating compliance with Gateway requirements under the Building Safety Act. Interventional Radiology (IR) - Main Contractor 2 Stage D&B RIBA 4 TO 7 JCT D&B Contract Key Considerations • The project includes complex mechanical and electrical interventions, particularly relating to the delivery of a new ventilation system to theatre-level standards within an existing live hospital environment. • An initial strategy for the location and routing of a new Air Handling Unit (AHU) and modification to the existing have been identified; however, this will require further development and coordination through the next design stages. • The scheme will need to comply with the requirements of the Building Safety Act (BSA), with the appointed contractor taking responsibility for submissions to the BSR. • Any planning considerations and statutory approvals will need to be managed as part of the ongoing design and delivery process. The successful supplier will need to demonstrate extensive experience in delivering similar requirements in an operational Healthcare environment. NHS LPP is now seeking to build on the success of DDS through the development of the new Digital and Office and Transformation Solutions (DOTS) framework. While DOTS will replace the current DDS framework, the new framework will significantly broaden the focus beyond traditional document solutions to encompass a wider range of digital, operational, and transformational technologies and services. The timing of this framework renewal is particularly important as the NHS continues to progress the ambitions of the NHS Ten Year Health Plan, which places increasing emphasis on workforce experience, operational efficiency, digital maturity, interoperability, and the reduction of technical debt across healthcare organisations. NHS organisations are seeking more flexible and scalable digital solutions that can support transformation programmes, modern ways of working, and long-term sustainability across both clinical and non-clinical environments. The DOTS framework has therefore been designed to provide a flexible, future-proof, and supplier-friendly route to market that encourages innovation, collaboration, and continuous solution development. The framework will support NHS and wider public sector organisations in adopting technologies and services that enable operational transformation, workflow optimisation, automation, AI-enabled solutions, digital document management, analytics, infrastructure modernisation, and enterprise-wide digital strategies. This approach is intended to simplify procurement processes, accelerate access to innovative solutions, support standardisation where appropriate, and enable customers to achieve demonstrable best value while retaining the option to undertake further competition if required.
