Residential and Nursing Care in Gloucestershire - Pre Market Engagement Survey
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) is changing how it contracts for Residential and Nursing Care from 2026/27. Following feedback from providers and other stakeholders, we are developing a new contractual arrangement to replace the current Pre-Placement Contract.
The new contract will cover residential care, nursing care, and short-term/respite placements for adults aged 18 and over, including people with needs relating to frailty, dementia, physical disabilities, acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, mental health, autism and forensic support. The arrangement has a total maximum value of £816 million.

Gloucestershire County Council is undertaking this preliminary market engagement exercise to develop a clearer understanding of market capability, capacity and associated limitations in the procurement of a contract for supported accommodation at Trevone House.
Estimated contract dates 1st April 2027 to 31st March 2030. Possible extension to 31st March 2032.
Pre Market Engagement for the Procurement of Food Supply for Adult Social Care In-House Respite
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) is undertaking a procurement exercise to establish a formal contract for the supply and delivery of food products to its Adult Social Care (ASC) In-House Respite Services.
