The Collection and Treatment of Separately Collected Waste Upholstered Domestic Seating (WUDS) Containing POPs
Glasgow City Council requires a suitable contractor for the collection of separately collected and bulked WUDS material from one of Glasgow City Council’s Waste Transfer Station for the onward treatment and disposal. The council also requires the contractor to be able to receive WUDS material delivered by GCC vehicles directed to an agreed authorised WUDS treatment facility.
Glasgow City Council and Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership are hosting a market engagement event to discuss plans for a future procurement for Private Rented Sector accommodation.
This event will provide an opportunity for interested Suppliers to hear more about -

- Information on how to become tender ready.
The session will also include a short questionnaire for attendees to complete. Your feedback will play an important role in shaping the forthcoming tender process and helping the Council to understand market capacity and sector specific considerations.

Refurbishment and Operate Public Toilet Facilities in Glasgow
Glasgow City Council's current Refurbishment and Operate of Public Toilet Facilities in Glasgow expires on 31 March 2027.
The Council therefore intends to establish a new contract for facilities management for up to eight public toilets and the potential of refurbishment - replacement of five out of the eight public toilets locations within Glasgow.
Glasgow City Council’s current Coach and Mini‑Bus Hire Framework is due to expire on 04 January 2027. The Council therefore intends to establish a new Framework Agreement to ensure continued provision of these services. The new Framework will cover the supply of coach and mini‑bus hire services for journeys both within and out with the Glasgow city boundary, supporting the requirements of Glasgow City Council (GCC) departments and its Arm’s Length External Organisations (ALEOs). The Framework will require the provision of flexible, reliable passenger transport services, which may include:
School trips and educational outings
Community and corporate events, Ad-hoc and planned passenger , transport journeys, Short‑notice and on‑demand transport requirements.
Custom House Quay - Quay Wall, Civil Infrastructure & Public Realm Works
The Principal Contractor will be required to undertake, manage, and deliver works including, but not limited to, the following:
Site Establishment and Pre Construction Activities
Quay Wall and Marine Engineering Works
Scottish Water CSO and Drainage Integration Works
Public Realm, Landscaping, and Urban Park Construction
