Dundee City Council is undertaking a procurement exercise to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, and committed supplier to provide electricity and gas meter operator provider (MOP) services and data collector and data aggregator (DCDA) services across the Council’s estate. The procurement will consolidate the supply of MOP services to a single supplier to improve upon the quality of Data Collection and Aggregation Services across the council portfolio. The appointed supplier shall manage the seamless transfer and adoption of all existing metering assets from current providers, including asset registration, meter technical details, communications arrangements with no disruption to data collection or settlement activities.

Dundee City Council intends to procure a construction consultant resource and project management system to improve the planning, allocation and monitoring of architectural, engineering and specialist consultancy resources across its capital and housing programmes. The system will complement existing corporate and client-side systems, including Civica, by providing enhanced resource planning, capacity forecasting, workload visibility, timesheet reporting and management information. The objective is to improve service efficiency, strengthen forward planning, support evidence-based resource decisions and provide greater assurance over programme delivery, capacity utilisation and value for money.
