Derry City and Strabane District Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the replacement of the existing boilerhouse control panel with a new Building Management System (BMS) control panel at Riversdale Leisure Centre, 2 Lisnafin Park, Strabane. The new control panel shall be capable of fully controlling the existing boiler plant, heating pumps, ventilation systems, and pool heating plant. It shall also be fully integrated with the Council’s existing BMS infrastructure and be suitable for future connection to a front-end Building Energy Management System (BEMS) system. The existing boilerhouse plant will remain in place, and all services must be maintained throughout the works, with minimal disruption to the day-to-day operation of the facility. The works will include the removal of the existing control panel, installation and integration of the new panel, and all associated wiring, plant interfacing, testing, and commissioning. The Contractor shall ensure that the new control system is fully operational, demonstrated to the Client, and handed over complete with all necessary documentation upon completion. Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) invites suitably qualified organisations, to deliver a Rural Community Resources and Services Audit within the three Rural District Electoral Areas (DEAs) of the Council area, namely Sperrin, Derg and Faughan. Derry City and Strabane District Council is committed to supporting Community and Voluntary Sector organisations within the three rural DEAs by providing an independent, external, dedicated Rural Community Development Support Service that complements Council’s existing Community Development work within the three rural DEAs. The service provides additionality and delivers shared outcomes that strengthen and sustain the three rural DEAs. DCSDC seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced independent organisation to undertake Phase 2 of this process. Derry City and Strabane District Council invites quotations from suitably qualified and experienced commercial archaeologists and archaeological organisations to provide archaeological services associated with the T26-117ENV Unlocking Silent Heritage (USH) Project. The Unlocking Silent Heritage Project is a cross-community engagement programme funded through the PEACEPLUS Programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The project aims to enhance access to, understanding of and engagement with the district's historic cemeteries through community heritage activities, genealogy, digitisation of records and sensitive site improvements. The Programme relates to the conservation, access improvement, interpretation and enhancement works within six historic cemeteries across the Derry City and Strabane District Council area and will require archaeological oversight, securing statutory approvals, liaison with three teams in the Historic Environment Division (HED); (i) Heritage Development and Change Branch (HDCB), (ii) Excavation and Licensing Team (iii) Scheduled Monument Management and Council, as well as the monitoring of works to ensure the protection of archaeological and historic assets.
