Lot 2 - Corporate Building Doors and Access Systems
Lot 3 - Housing Block Doors and Access Systems
Supply, Delivery and Stock Management of Materials for Services across the Council
The contract will provide for the supply and delivery of materials to support operational requirements across the Borough of Darlington. Delivery arrangements will comprise a combination of:
Direct deliveries to multiple Council locations within the Borough; and Collections by the Council from the Contractor's premises, which must be located within a 5-mile radius of DL1 4QB.
The contract will be structured into 10 distinct lots to promote flexibility, encourage supplier participation, and ensure the efficient provision of a wide range of materials.
Personal Care and Domestic Support for Tenants in Extra Care Housing
This requirement is for the provision of care and support for adults who live in an Extra
Care setting within the Borough of Darlington. The Services provided under this
Agreement shall be available to Individuals who live in Extra Care housing who meet the
Council's eligibility criteria for funding.
There are two elements to the Service within this Specification, these are;
• care and support - this is support delivered to Individuals eligible to services under Fair
Access to Care across the groups identified including personal care, domestic support
and any other activity agreed to meet the Individual's outcomes.
• Overnight support that may be required in response to an emergency call for assistance
from those individuals living in the Extra Care schemes
