Portable Misting Systems - Maintenance, Monitoring, Removals and Installation
Derby Homes is an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) and is a 100% owned subsidiary of Derby City Council. It was created in 2002 to manage and maintain the Council's domestic housing stock. The function of the management and maintenance is delegated to Derby Homes, but the Council retains ownership of the housing stock, and all tenants are Council tenants.
Derby Homes are running this preliminary market engagement activity to identify suppliers who maybe able to provide monitoring, maintenance, repair and replacement of current holding of Portable Misting Systems manufactured by Surefire. The provider must be an approved contractor with Surefire.
Derby Homes would require that the system is to be monitored, and the emergency response warning call goes directly to Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and not via a third party. The provider should be able to access the Enterprise Information System (EIS) operated by Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service. Provision for the storage of the portable misting systems is required.
Derby Homes would be provided with a completed service report and other relevant reports.
The equipment is required to ensure the safety of vulnerable and immobile tenants, deemed at risk, from the outbreak of a fire.
