Ceredigion County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake repair and conservation works to the Wellington Monument at Pen Dinas, Aberystwyth, a Scheduled Monument.
The works include the provision of access scaffolding, inspection and repair of stonework to the upper section of the monument, and coordination with specialist contractors undertaking lightning conductor works. All repairs must be carried out using appropriate heritage methods and materials, in accordance with Cadw guidance, to preserve the monument’s historic character and integrity.
Due to restricted site access, materials and equipment will need to be transported on foot from the nearest access point. Contractors must ensure minimal disruption to the surrounding environment.
The estimated value is between £25,000 and £30,000 for the full term of the contract. Please note that the contract value provided within this notice represents an estimate prepared by the Council. It is issued for guidance only and does not constitute a fixed budget or an indication of the expected contract price. Bidders are expected to submit a competitive bid based on market prices.

Ceredigion County Council is seeking to appoint a contractor who can deliver a reliable, high quality, value-for-money, managed service for the mechanical mowing of highway verges, highway visibility splays / sight lines and cycleways in Ceredigion. (Trunk Roads).
The Contract is divided into three (3) Lots as follows:
• Lot 1: Ceredigion North
• Lot 2: Ceredigion South
• Lot 3: Trunk Road
Bidders may submit a Tender for one (1) Lot, any combination of Lots, or all Lots. Each Lot will be evaluated separately, and the Council reserves the right to award one, some, or all Lots. The contract term will be from 11th of May 2026 to 31st March 2028 with an option to extend for two further periods of up to 12 months each.
The estimated value is between £600,000 and £760,000 for the full term of the contract including all extensions. The tender documents have been available via eTender Wales from the 27th of March 2026 for any potential supplier to access. This requirement is now considered urgent due to the need of Verge Mowing to ensure public safety.

Ceredigion County Council is seeking to procure a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to lead the development and establishment of a county-wide grassroots and strategic local food partnership. This partnership will engage stakeholders across the public, private, and voluntary sectors to strengthen collaboration, support sustainable food systems, and drive coordinated local action.
The appointed organisation will undertake a facilitation role, working closely with partners to design, develop, and implement the partnership. This will include overseeing its operation alongside delivering a structured programme of activities to support its growth, engagement, and long-term sustainability.
The contract will be awarded for an initial period of two years, subject to the availability of funding, and will include a break clause at the end of the first year.
