• Ward 1 - Refurbishment of all areas to create a Dementia Ward including replacement of floor finishes and hygienic wall cladding and redecoration throughout. Works to overhaul doors and install new anti-barricade doorstops to bedroom doors.
• Ward 2 - Refurbishment of all areas to create an Anti-Ligature Ward including replacement of floor finishes, sanitaryware to En-suites and Disabled WCs, hygienic wall cladding and redecoration throughout. Works also include the installation of anti-ligature doorsets to corridors, bedrooms, Ensuites and day rooms. Bedroom doors to be fitted with anti-ligature alarms. Window replacement within bedrooms and corridors.
• Ward 3 - Refurbishment of all areas to create a Dementia Ward including replacement of floor finishes and hygienic wall cladding and redecoration throughout. Works to overhaul doors and install new anti-barricade doorstops to bedroom doors.

Consultancy Services for PM Roles Across Multiple Capital Projects
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) wish to procure the services of an individual from your organisation to undertake the day-to-day duties of a project manager role for a period of c18 months. The successful tenderer will be expected to act as part of the CTMUHB Capital projects team, reporting on projects at monthly meetings and escalating project issues through the correct hierarchy structure.
This role will require familiarity with the public sector procurement process, for both professional services and works contracts, and will operate within the confines of NHS Wales governance structures – with demonstrable experience working within complex public sector, and preferably healthcare environments, with comparable governance structures.
The role requires regular on site working across various CTMUHB sites. Remote working is acceptable for administrative and planning tasks; however, the Consultant must be available to attend site when required for project meetings, inspections, issue resolution, or operational coordination.
The consultant will utilise technical knowledge and expertise to provide the full range of capital planning and project management services required by CTMUHB, and act as the Health Board’s representative, ensuring compliance with NEC4 PSC Option A, Health Board governance, statutory requirements, and all relevant WHTMs/WHBNs, CDM Regulations and internal procedures. This will routinely necessitate working within challenging parameters of cost, time and quality and involve the processing of highly complex, contentious and sensitive information.

Maintenance of Life Critical Fire Alarm Systems and AFD Equipment
This ITT has been issued by NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (hosted by the Velindre NHS Trust) “NWSSP” on behalf of Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB who shall enter into the Agreement.
You are being invited to tender under the open procedure conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023.
The Procurement will result in the award of a sole supplier contract (Agreement).
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) requires a fully comprehensive fire alarm system maintenance contract and testing, monitoring support service across its healthcare, administrative and community estate. The service shall ensure that all fire alarm systems, ancillary accessories and equipment remain fully operational, compliant with relevant legislation and standards, and capable of supporting patient, staff and public safety.
The estate comprises acute hospitals, community hospitals, health centres, clinics, administrative buildings and specialist diagnostic facilities. The contract shall include Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), testing 100% of CTMUHBs Automatic Fire Detection (AFD) equipment,, reactive maintenance, emergency call-out support, maintenance of fire alarm monitoring equipment and Nimbus Gateway infrastructure, associated certification, and management reporting.
The Contractor shall provide sufficient resources, suitably trained personnel, systems software and specialist equipment to maintain the integrity of CTMUHBs AFD systems and maintain service continuity throughout the contract period.
