The Authorities require proven legal expertise in fire safety law and enforcement procedures in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and The Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004, particularly in relation to formal investigations as part of potential breaches of the fire safety order.
The Authorities will require a suitably qualified Fire Safety Lawyer/legal representation at Magistrates and higher level Courts to deal with fire safety cases as and when required. The legal representation must have an extensive proven legal background of working within the field of Fire Safety Law.
