The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is seeking to appoint a Strategic Digital Delivery Partner to support the delivery of its Digital Transformation Programme. This procurement is for the provision of managed digital delivery services and does not include the replacement of CITB's strategic web content management platform. CITB has adopted Umbraco as its strategic CMS and has invested significantly in modern digital capabilities built on Umbraco and Microsoft technologies. SkillBuild is CITB’s flagship competition programme, designed to showcase construction skills across the UK. It plays a key role in promoting vocational excellence, supporting skills development, and raising awareness of careers in construction. As such CITB require a specialist Event build team to deliver consistent, safe, and high-quality competition environments across multiple Regional Qualifiers throughout the UK and the National Final This is the first stage of a 2 stage process (EOI) to enable shortlisting of suppliers, to be invited to a final stage (ITT).

CITB are inviting bids to deliver a continuation of the existing Shared Apprenticeship Scheme covering South West and South East Wales. CITB wish to fund a single provider to deliver the Scheme from the planned point of project commencement on 1st December 2026 through to 31st March 2029. As well as new Apprentices recruited during this period, Apprentices who started their programmes before the point of project commencement must continue to be supported through to completion of their qualifications, via the funding awarded to the successful provider.

As part of CITB’s ongoing programme of development, the organisation is seeking to explore AI-enabled capability to improve the efficiency, quality, consistency and scalability of product and assessment development within Training & Assessment. Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is pleased to announce the commencement of pre-market engagement for our forthcoming 2027 Scholarships Programme procurement, which will commence contract delivery in September 2027, with tenders due for launch in August 2026. ECITB Scholarships are our flagship new entrant programmes, designed to address skills shortages in the UK engineering construction industry by providing employer-led, full-time technical training that leads directly into employment or accelerated apprenticeships. The programme aims to: • Create a sustainable pipeline of skilled entrants into the engineering construction industry. • Deliver training in disciplines where regional demand has been identified through labour market intelligence. • Connect learners directly with employers throughout their training, rather than simply delivering college-based education. • Ensure learners receive a thorough grounding in industry best practise and safe behaviours before being presented to employers. • Support the industry's workforce needs across England, Scotland and Wales • Maximise available public and ECITB funding to create a sustainable and cost effective delivery model.
