Community Food Bank/Food Distribution Hub Operations
Cambourne Town Council is seeking an experienced registered Charity or Community Interest Company (CIC) to occupy and operate from its new building to deliver foodbank and/or community food distribution services.
The Council is particularly interested in organisations that can demonstrate:
Proven experience in delivering foodbank, food distribution, or wider food insecurity support services
Strong safeguarding, governance, and operational procedures
Previous work in partnership with, or alongside, local government authorities
The ability to operate sustainably and meet community need effectively
A track record of partnership working with local agencies and voluntary sector organisations
Applicants must be able to provide a minimum of two references, with preference given to organisations able to evidence prior collaboration with local authority or public sector partners.
This opportunity is intended to support the delivery of essential community services from a suitable, well-located facility within Cambourne, strengthening local provision for residents in need.

Promoting wellbeing, inclusion and community cohesion
The successful Contractor will work collaboratively with the Council and local stakeholders to deliver high-quality youth provision aligned with community needs.
The Council operates the Cambourne Soul, a fully equipped youth building.
