This preliminary market engagement is being done as a Request for Information with the option for demonstrations at CYC's discretion. The anticipated value of the contract is below £10,000 per annum. However, initial testing of the market indicates suppliers utilise auto-renewal clauses, Schedule 3 Paragraph 5 of PA23 applies and so this procurement is being treated as Above-Threshold.

The Approved Provider List (APL) 1 - Care at Home (Domiciliary Care) "Service" will be delivered in the main in the customer's own home (including community based settings such as Independent Living Communities), but also in the community where it is appropriate to enable the Customer to achieve their agreed outcomes. The "Service" is available to all adults aged 18 years and over who live within the City of York Council boundaries and have been referred to the "Service" by Adult Social Care (ASC). The procurement of the services is via a DPS for a new Approved Provider List (APL) 1 - Care at Home (Domiciliary Care) "Service" and the DPS will be reviewed periodically.
