CBC-1985-FW-SK - Supported Accommodation for Care Experienced Young People 16+ Framework (ITT)
Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) is seeking to establish a Light Touch Framework for the provision of Supported Accommodation for Care Experienced Young People and Young People Seeking Sanctuary aged 16+ years.
The Framework will provide high quality supported accommodation and support services for young people aged 16-17 who are Looked After, Care Experienced or Separated Migrant Children, including PACE placements where required. Providers must be Ofsted registered under the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and demonstrate the ability to deliver safe, effective and outcome-focused support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive life opportunities.
The Council will provide as much support and information as possible to assist suppliers through the tender process. Questions submitted and the Authority's responses will be shared with all bidders to ensure a fair, open and transparent procurement process.

CBC-2138-RFI-SK ( Request for Information) Social Isolation and Loneliness)
Central Bedfordshire Council is undertaking a Request for Information (RFI) to inform the future commissioning of a Social Isolation and Loneliness Service. The purpose of this RFI is to engage with the market, gather information on potential service delivery models, and understand supplier capability and innovation.
The proposed service will support adults experiencing loneliness, social isolation, or reduced community engagement through outreach, befriending, signposting, wellbeing activities, and community-based interventions. The service aims to improve social connectedness, enhance wellbeing, increase access to local support and services, and enable individuals to live independently within their communities.
This RFI does not constitute a call for competition and is intended solely to inform future procurement activity.
CBC-2068-CFP-SK Housing Repairs and Void Property Works
Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking to appoint a contractor to deliver housing repairs and void property works across its social housing portfolio. The service will support the ongoing maintenance, repair and re-letting of homes, ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained and available for occupation, while delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service for residents.

CBC-2012-FW-SK - Sixteen Plus Accommodation Framework
Central Bedfordshire Council aims to establish a Framework between the Council and suppliers for the supply of accommodation and support to care experienced young people and unaccompanied asylum seeking young people aged 16-18 years only.
Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking market information from suppliers capable of providing vehicle maintenance and repair services for its operational fleet. Services may include routine servicing, inspections, reactive repairs, breakdown support and specialist maintenance. The Council is considering a lotting structure covering both North Area and South Area.
CBC-2107-RFI-SK Alternative Education Framework re-commission (Request for Information)
Central Bedfordshire Council and Bedford Borough Council are undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to inform the re-commissioning of an Alternative Education Provision Framework from September 2027. The proposed framework will support children and young people requiring tailored educational interventions and is expected to include online and face-to-face tuition, vocational learning, alternative curriculum provision, mentoring/outreach support, and enrichment activities. CBC-2074-T-SK Aldbanks Supported Living Procurement
The Council is conducting this Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise pursuant to Sections 16 and 17 of the Procurement Act 2023.
The Council intends to procure a Supported Living Provider to deliver care and support services to adults aged 18 and over with mental health needs at Aldbanks, a supported living setting in Dunstable, together with the provision of outreach-based support. The Council is seeking feedback from interested providers to help inform and shape the future service model prior to commencing a competitive procurement process.
This PME exercise will assist the Council in understanding current and emerging market practices, levels of supplier interest, and innovative approaches to service delivery. The information gathered will help ensure that the proposed procurement is well-designed, proportionate, and responsive to both service user needs and market capability.
Through this engagement, the Council aims to:
Develop and refine its service requirements and procurement approach.
Inform the design of the competitive procurement procedure, including conditions of participation, award criteria, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify potential providers with the capability and experience to deliver the required supported living and outreach services.
