The Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Support Service service will provide compassionate, accessible, and non-judgemental support to individuals who are at risk of suicide or self-harm, as well as those impacted by these experiences, including families, carers, and wider communities. The service will play a key role in reducing stigma, promoting early intervention, and strengthening local support networks across Carmarthenshire.
Carmarthenshire County Council operates a number of Vehicle Activated Signs (VAS) and Driver Feedback Signs (DFS) across its highway network. These signs provide accurate and timely information to road users. To ensure the reliable and efficient operation of these signs, including their components, software and electrical systems, the Council requires a Maintenance Contractor to maintain the signs and repair any faults.

Design and Installation of High and Low Rope Courses at Pembrey County Park
Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking to appoint a supplier for the design, installation and on-going maintenance of both High Ropes and Low Ropes activity courses at Pembrey Country Park. The High Ropes course is required to comprise of 8-10 different components whilst the Low Ropes course is required to comprise of 10 different components.
The Council wishes to set up a Framework that will provide First Aid Training related courses. There will be one Lot, where the chosen Provider(s) will provide all courses mentioned below:
Paediatric Emergency First Aid at Work (one day course)
First Aid at Work (three-day course)
Emergency First Aid at Work (one day course)
In addition to the training courses listed above, there will be a requirement for the Provider to include specialist content when required, such as but not limited to:
Anaphylaxis management
Managing catastrophic bleeding, and
Choking rescue techniques in Learning Disabilities settings
The training is delivered on an 'as required' basis, and Providers should note there may be a need to deliver multiple courses at different venues across the Council on the same day. Training will be provided in Council premises i.e. libraries, schools, care homes etc. however, depending on course or team needs these may change during the course of the Framework Agreement, but will always remain within Council premises.
The Framework Agreement shall be for 3 years with an option to be extended for a further period of up to 12 months. A maximum of 3 providers will be appointed to the Framework.

Carmarthenshire County Council are looking to establish a framework to deliver its Period Dignity Programme to communities and schools across the region. The Period Dignity programme aims to ensure there is a dignified way of accessing free of charge period products for those who menstruate within education and those from low-income households in Carmarthenshire local authority area in the most practical and dignified way possible. The framework will cover the supply and distribution of period products for community and school settings. It will also cover a Period Dignity Home Pack service within secondary schools. This procurement is subject to funding provided by the Welsh Government. Accordingly, there is a risk that the value of the grant may increase, decrease, or be withdrawn entirely on an annual basis. Any potential extension to the contract will be reviewed annually, subject to the continued availability of funding.
In accordance with Schedule 8 of the Procurement Act 2023, this contract may be modified to provide for the supply of additional goods or services based on agreed tendered prices.
Dynamic Purchasing System for the Supply of Arboricultural Works on Trees Affected by Ash Dieback and Other Health Related Issues - ON-GOING APPLICATIONS
This Contract Notice is to inform the market that the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of services relating to Ash Dieback and other tree felling works has been extended for one year, until 8th November 2025, in accordance with the DPS Agreement and original tender documentation.
Carmarthenshire County Council established a DPS for the supply of services relating to Ash Dieback and other tree felling works on 9th November 2020 for an initial period of up to 4 years. The DPS is operated on a fully electronic basis and is open to new entrants throughout its term who meet the minimum criteria specified in the DPS documents.
Contractors will be required to be suitably qualified and experienced to undertake works primarily associated with Highways, however the DPS will also provide for Ash Dieback and other tree felling works on housing sites, industrial estates, school and other sites owned by the Council within Carmarthenshire. Additionally, there may be the requirement for works to be undertaken on private land at the Council’s request and emergency tree felling works.
The Council wishes to commission Supplier(s) on a framework basis, to supply Print and Promotional Signage Materials and Services. The Open Framework will operate for a maximum term of eight (8) years from the Commencement Date. Following the reopening of the Framework in the third year, the Council reserves the right, at its discretion, to reopen the Framework to admit new suppliers for the remainder of the original eight-year term. Such reopening may occur in circumstances such as when existing suppliers leave the Framework, are unable to meet requirements, responding to market changes or innovations, and encouraging SME participation, or where reopening is deemed necessary to maintain competition and value for money. Any reopening constitutes a renewal of participation for the remaining duration of the original term and does not extend or reset the eight-year limit (in accordance with section 49(2)(c) of the Act).

The Council is seeking to appoint contractors to undertake drainage surveys using specialist equipment and cameras that pass through or zoom up culverts and pipes to record their condition and location. The surveys are required as part of the Council’s statutory duties under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, the Highways Act (1980) and for Asset Management purposes. The requirement is for surveys only, not repairs.
