Bristol City Council wishes to test the level of market interest in this contract. The contract would be for a single supplier to deliver three services; 1. Training for professionals to raise awareness Increase awareness amongst professionals working with children (e.g. schools, family help, family hubs and social care) about CAPO through training and networking events and serving as a point of contact for professionals seeking support or resources for families they are supporting. 2. Direct support to children and families Direct support for children and young people affected by parental offending which takes a whole family approach, supporting the wider family and remaining parent, as required. This will be tailored one-to-one support for children and peer support groups and activities for children, as well as for the non-offending parent. 3. Parenting courses for parents in prison Provide parents with the necessary skills to maintain strong relationships with their children despite being separated. These courses aim to improve family dynamics and reduce reoffending rates. Bristol City Council wishes to test the level of market interest in providing a service which provides support for families in crisis or at risk of or affected by care proceedings/child removal. The aim of this service is to provide support to families in crisis in Bristol which improves outcomes for them and their children, reduces the need for social care involvement and reduces the number of children coming into care. The service will need to comprise of three distinct elements, which together will form the overall delivery model. The provider should have a demonstrable track record of delivering all three elements. The provision must: • Have an existing stable volunteer base in Bristol so referrals can be received and support offered from the beginning of the contract. • Be able to support families with complex levels of need (eg families in crisis and in need, step down from fostering, care leavers in supported accommodation, families going through or post care proceedings).

The contractor shall supply and install electrical isolation switches to enable the safe isolation of electrical supplies serving domestic dwellings and communal areas without the need to remove service fuses. As part of the works, the contractor shall provide a property pack for each installation. The property pack shall include, as a minimum: • Photographic evidence of the installation, including: • Condition prior to works • Installed isolation switch in situ • Labelling and accessibility • Electrical test results confirming correct installation, including completion of a polarity test • Confirmation that the isolation device has been installed in accordance with this specification and applicable regulations This specification applies to: • Domestic properties (individual dwellings, flats, maisonettes) • Communal properties and supplies, including but not limited to: • Landlord supplies • Communal lighting and power circuits • Plant rooms, risers, corridors, and stairwells • Meter cupboards and intake rooms The works are limited to: • Installation of electrical isolation devices only The works do not include: • Consumer unit or distribution board replacement • Alterations to service heads or other DNO-owned equipment • Reconfiguration of existing circuits beyond what is necessary to install the isolator safely

Bristol City Council wishes to test the level of market interest in providing a building to deliver Bristol Respite Rooms. Bristol Respite Rooms is an established service providing short stay respite accommodation for women experiencing multiple disadvatage including homelessness and domestic abuse/sexual violence. The purpose is for short stay accommodation, stabilisation, recovery and sustainable move-on planning. Dedicated, specialist domestic abuse support, delivered in-house, is commissioned separately by Public Health.

Bristol City Council wishes to test the level of market interest in providing an end-to-end service for the installation of property‑level Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) / rainwater management measures across Bristol City Council‑owned housing and private housing stock. The majority of participating properties will be located within the River Frome catchment area, including East Bristol and the Lockleaze area. The aim is to reduce surface water flooding and increasing flood resilience by catching rainwater. The service would include feasibility assessments incl. hydraulic assessments and calculating storage for a certain return period, fully leading on resident engagement incl. communication and engagement plans and contacting them, identification and assessment of suitable properties, technical and hydraulic analysis, supply and installation of rainwater butts and planters, and post‑installation monitoring and hydraulic assessment to be fed into a monitoring and evaluation report. The target area comprises 411 addresses, across 154 buildings in 21 publicly owned housing developments.

The service will support people with a history of rough sleeping who experience multiple disadvantages and barriers to accessing accommodation and support services. The service will help them navigate the various systems and advocate for positive outcomes.
