Bristol City Council wishes to test the level of market interest in this contract. The contract would be for a single supplier to deliver three services;
1. Training for professionals to raise awareness
Increase awareness amongst professionals working with children (e.g. schools, family help, family hubs and social care) about CAPO through training and networking events and serving as a point of contact for professionals seeking support or resources for families they are supporting.
2. Direct support to children and families
Direct support for children and young people affected by parental offending which takes a whole family approach, supporting the wider family and remaining parent, as required. This will be tailored one-to-one support for children and peer support groups and activities for children, as well as for the non-offending parent.
3. Parenting courses for parents in prison
Provide parents with the necessary skills to maintain strong relationships with their children despite being separated. These courses aim to improve family dynamics and reduce reoffending rates.
Further information, as well as the Expression of Interest form which needs to be completed can be found once you have registered your interest on the advert. This is purely to test the level of market interest.
