This service is intended to support any Bracknell Forest resident aged 18 or over with a visual impairment, including deafblind. The purpose of the service is to provide person-centred information, advice and guidance (IAG) to enable people to continue to lead independent, fulfilling lives. This is not a clinical service and does not undertake statutory sensory impairment support.

The DPS comprises two lots: Lot 1: traditional bus services with set routes and timetables. Lot 2 : covers demand responsive transport and other non-typical bus provision. Note: The DPS excludes the provision of home to school transport for pupils with special transport requirements, e.g. wheelchair and/or passenger assistant. The Council has a duty under the 1985 Transport Act 'to secure the provision of such public passenger transport services as the council consider it appropriate to secure to meet any public transport requirements ... which would not in its view be met apart from any action taken by it for that purpose.' The agreement will provide the structure to procure routes, the Bus Strategy developed during 2020 defines what the Council deems appropriate under the Act, and the call offs under this framework will procure those routes, ensuring by the appropriate qualitative criteria that any route details put forward by operators fulfil the requirements defined in the Strategy. As of June 2022 the Council provides 9 subsidised public bus services operating Mon-Sat with three of these services also operating late into the evening and on Sundays. The Council also contributes to a route procured by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Bracknell Forest Council is considering establishing an education arrangement for the delivery of Alternative Education Provision (AP) to children & young people unable to attend school due to illness, exclusion or other reasons. This may include children & young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) or Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs). The Council is currently considering the most appropriate commissioning model and has not yet determined the final structure. This may include the establishment of a framework agreement. This pre-market engagement will help determine the most appropriate commissioning model. If a framework agreement is established, then this will be made up of up to 6 lots.

Bracknell Forest Council (“the Authority”) is seeking to undertake a procurement exercise for a Housing Management Software platform provided as a cloud hosted service (software as a service) The Authority would like information regarding the provision of a Housing Management System that has been successfully deployed in other local authorities and can integrate with other peripheral systems such as Agresso Business World Financials and TAG’s Techforge Property Maintenance System. Bracknell Forest Council is re tendering the Home Care Framework for the provision of Home care services. The framework will be used to commission home care services that ensure residents receive the right support in a way that is efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective. We are seeking Pre Market Engagement to help the Council in designing and structuring the new Home care framework. The Council intends to establish a framework of building contractors to support capital works for both the Council's corporate estate and schools the Council is supporting. The Framework will cover a range of construction services and specialties covered under one lot with multiple suppliers. Annual spend through the Framework will typically be between £5,000,000 and £8,000,000. It is anticipated that a mix of mini competitions and direct awards will be conducted in connection to individual projects, but the precise call off methodology is still being developed by the Council.

Bracknell Forest Council and Wokingham Council are seeking a contractor to delivers highways maintenance and works for all highways the Councils are responsible for within their boroughs. This may be commissioned as a joint contract, or the two Councils may instead determine to proceed with 2 separate individual contracts. The councils will be undertaking market consultation in 2027 to assist in determining how they wish to proceed.
