Domestic Abuse Independent Advocate (IDVA)&Programme of Therapeutic Response PIN
This is a PIN for the Supplier Market Engagement Event that will be hosted via MS Teams on 17th July 2024 (afternoon).
Bedfordshire Commissioners are intending to tender for the independent domestic abuse and counselling services. The service is to provide support to standard and medium risk levels for victims of domestic abuse.
The service will be an Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) model of delivery for all ages, sex and background. The service will also provide a programme of therapeutic responses for victims of domestic abuse.
This is a really exciting opportunity, and we would like to engage with any providers, small, medium or large, who have an interest in this work.

At a high level we are looking for solutions that would allow bail signers to self-serve and sign on at our enquiry offices. The solution would need to allow an accurate sign on for bailers, checking their identity and informing the relevant Officer in Charge in force that sign on either has or hasn't taken place as required

Conducted Energy Devices (CEDs) and associated equipment
The purchase of Conducted Energy Devices (CEDs) (TASERS) and Associated Equipment for Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Hertfordshire Constabulary.
The contracts will be for a 5-year plan based on the capital purchase of the equipment, the warranty of the devices and the consumables required over the 5-year term.
This has been awarded under the national Home Office framework for CED's.
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire , The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire , The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire have a requirement for the provision of Laundry Services to serve the Custody Units at Kempston and Luton (Bedfordshire). Cambridge and Peterborough (Cambridgeshire), and Hatfield and Stevenage (Hertfordshire).
The service will include delivery and collection from these locations. Items to be laundered will include blankets, towels and detainee clothing issued by the Forces.
This opportunity is presented as three Lots; Lot 1 - Bedfordshire; Lot 2 - Cambridgeshire; Lot 3 - Hertfordshire. A Tenderer may bid for one or any combination of the three lots.
It is anticipated the contract will start 1st June 2025 for an initial term of 14 months until 31st August 2026. There will be two optional extensions of 12 months each until 31st August 2027 and 31st August 2028 respectively.
