This contract is awarded to S&P Global Ltd to provide the Maritime Accident Investigation Branch with an online subscription to the SeaWeb website and to the ship's data service subscription. This contract is direct awarded, on the basis that the MAIB have an operational need for a service which provides comprehensive data on ships, owners, shipbuilders, fixtures, casualties, port state control, ISM, real-time vessel movements and ports information via a single application, and which interfaces with the MAIB case management system.
