Lancaster University is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from suppliers interested in tendering. The winning bidder will be required to provide fuel supply for the University's 995kW woodchip boiler as part of a drive to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs. Lancaster University receives Renewable Heat Incentive and the biomass boiler is expected to run until 2033, when the renewable heat initiative expires.
