The Reviving Exmoor's Heartlands (REH) project is a round 2 Landscape Recovery project that has been approved for a two year development phase, starting in April 2024. The project aims to restore Exmoor's central moorlands to a thriving ecological state with good habitat connectivity to the wider landscape, supported by viable farming. The REH Farm Conservation Advisory Service will play a key part in the development phase and forms part of the core project team. It is the main point of contact with the participant farmers, providing discrete, tailored one-to-one advice on how they can contribute to and benefit from the project. It is an independent, farmer focused support role to help farmers engage with the project to work out how it works for them.
