The Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) is a volume licensing package offered by Microsoft for organisations that have more than 500 devices.\r \r Microsoft do not sell direct to customers and instead work through a Licensing Solution Provider (LSP) network. \r \r An agreement lasts three years with subscriptions paid annually and the cost of the agreement can vary annually as user numbers and capabilities increase or decrease.\r \r GMCA wish to change their Microsoft subscription from E3 to E5, at point of renewal, \r the E5 ramp, offers the most cost-effective way to access additional functionality that could benefit GMCA.\r \r Specifically, the Compliance capabilities (Data Loss Protection) that have the potential to decrease the number of, and impact of, data beaches.\r \r The potential for migrating telephony to the cloud future years may lead to cost savings that would minimise the overall increase in costs associated with E5.\r \r Copilot might be purchased at any time and before buying into this functionality there should be a clearer understanding of its capabilities, how and where it will be deployed plus a vision for associated benefits.
