This Framework is for North Pennines AONB Partnership- Peatland Restoration (The project for "Long Crag Project" will be used to determine the top 8 Contractors for this Framework ).\r \r Works will include but not exclusively; fencing, supplying and spreading heather brash, supply and insulation of wooden, stone or coir dams, installation of peat dams and supply and spreading of lime, fertiliser and seed.\r \r This Framework will be available for use by Durham County Council and the following additional Contracting Authorities, where they have entered into a Procurement Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Durham County Council:\r \r - Academy Schools and Multi-Academy Trusts in County Durham and Darlington,\r \r - Maintained Schools in County Durham and Darlington,\r \r - County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service,\r \r - Durham Constabulary and the Office of the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner,\r \r - Believe Housing\r \r - Parish Councils and Town Councils in County Durham.\r \r The above list is not exhaustive, however, and in addition to the above the Framework may also be made available to other Organisations, again where these have entered into a Procurement SLA with Durham County Council. An up-to date list of these SLA partners is available on our website at:\r \r http://www.durham.gov.uk/dobusinesswithus\r \r Also available to Contracting Authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015). There will be a 1% rebate charge to organisations using this framework to be paid to Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). This will be discussed with the Contracting Authority.
