Description

A call-off from ​Lot A​ of the Place, Connectivity & Infrastructure Professional Services Framework 2022-2026 (Published 4 March 2022). The Work Order will need to look into the feasibility of a number of options for pedestrian accessibility improvements at Milkingpen Lane railway underpass, Old Basing. The consultant will produce a feasibility study looking at 3 key options, namely: the extension of the existing footways closer to the bridge (including the feasibility of adjusting the retaining wall to widen the verge on the northern side of the bridge); the potential for a modal filter/restriction to walking and cycling only; and 1 way working This call-off was directly awarded under the terms of the Framework Agreement.
