Direct Award against the ESPO 390_22 Archiving & Related Document Management Services Framework The ESPO Framework 390_22 allows for a Direct Award for Lot 3 - Total Document Management Solutions This Lot provides a full end-to end solution for all scanning and storage. This includes scanning, indexing, encryption, electronic storage, transportation and secure disposal of documents, storage, retrieval and associated training. Customers can access a consultancy service designed to scope and shape a full document management solution to help manage all POL's documents. In considering the ESPO 390_22Framework, procurement has considered the following: • Cost and time in conducting a full procurement. • The ongoing requirement for the HMU/GLO digital archiving work • POL being unable carry out document destruction of 30k plus documents as there is a risk that documents needed for the HMU/GLO could be destroyed. • Time required to ensure a secure uplift volume transfer to a new supplier. A standard industry uplift would be 250 registered items per day, so will take approx.. 18 months to complete.
