To improve the mooring safety of the current vessel sizes which berth at CT1, 2 and 3, the Port intends to replace and supplement the existing bollards with bollards and Quick Release Hooks (QRH) of significantly larger capacity. Due to the order of magnitude of bollard capacity increases, substantial structural works such as rock anchors and pier strengthening will be required to accommodate the proposed bollards. As well as this, the successful tenderer will undertake all necessary civils and services required for the installation of new Quick Release Hooks (QRHs) within the Cruise Terminal, including foundation construction, electrical ductwork and connections.
