NHS Lancashire & South Cumbria Community Dermatology
NHS Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) is working on behalf of NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB). This procurement was to identify a provider to deliver Community Dermatology across Lancashire and South Cumbria. The objective of the Community Dermatology Service was to develop a single point of referral One-Stop service for patients with Dermatological presentation. To ensure that patients within the Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB population receive the right care, delivered in the right place, by the right person, the first time. Ensuring appropriately tiered care provision through effective triage and referral optimisation. The provider is expected to support ICB led service development and innovation through tele dermatology and digital triage solutions, integrating with acute and primary care providers to offer a seamless dermatology triage and treatment service in Lancashire & South Cumbria. The contract is for 2 years with a possibility to extend for up to one year. As activity is not guaranteed, the estimated annual contract value is £2,987,643 per annum, however, this may vary.
