The Crown Estate has appointed a main contractor for the refurbishment of 1-12 Magdalen Street, Oxford through a two-stage Design and Build procurement process. Following a competitive tender process, the successful contractor has been appointed under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) to support design development, cost planning, programme development and construction planning for the proposed refurbishment works. Subject to satisfactory completion of the pre-construction phase and all necessary approvals, the contractor may subsequently be appointed under a separate JCT Design and Build contract for delivery of the main works.
