This notice is amended as follows. Deadlines extended. Clarification questions now close at 12:0 noon on Tuesday 27 October 2026, and RFQ Responses at 12:0 noon on Friday 30 October 2026. Where any document or earlier notice text shows 21 or 27 October 2026 for RFQ Responses, these dates govern. Submission text corrected to match those dates. Documents added. Record drawings of the Main Building and William Aston Hall, being a front elevation, basement, ground floor and first floor plan, issued for information only and not to be scaled. The Seating and Acoustics Report by Plann Ltd for Theatr Clwyd, November 2023, published for information; its costs are indicative only and are not an approved budget. Pricing Schedule version 2. The budget comparison now tests the fee including VAT against £50,000, and five further day rate lines have been added. Quotations must be submitted on version 2. Award criteria. The notice previously listed the five quality criteria individually with their weightings expressed as percentages of the total. The notice now states the two award criteria, Quality at 80% and Price at 20%, with the five quality criteria named in the description. The weighting of each quality criterion within the quality element is set out in Part 3 of the RFQ document, which governs. The criteria themselves, and the overall split of 80% quality and 20% price, are unchanged. RFQ version 2. The deadline on the cover sheet and the timetable at paragraph 4 have been updated to the extended dates above. The award criteria and their weightings in Part 3 are unchanged. Unchanged: the requirement, the specification, the conditions of participation, the award criteria, the overall 80% quality and 20% price split, and the £50,000 including VAT budget.
Wrexham University invites quotations from suitably qualified consultants, or consultant teams under a single lead consultant, to undertake a proportionate RIBA Stage 1 Feasibility Study for William Aston Hall on the Plas Coch campus, Wrexham. The Hall is a principal cultural and civic venue, operated in partnership with Theatr Clwyd. The study will appraise the existing venue and develop and compare options covering the audience journey, the auditorium, technical theatre, backstage, access and inclusion, heritage constraints, building services and operating implications, with broad cost ranges, phasing advice and delivery risks. The maximum budget for the Stage 1 core services is £50,000 including VAT. Quotations above this figure will be rejected. The study is funded by the Arts Council of Wales Arts Capital Investment Fund with match funding from the University, and must be complete by 19 February 2027. Quotations must be submitted through the Sell2Wales Tender Postbox by 12:0 noon on Friday 30 October 2026. Suppliers must be registered on the Central Digital Platform. Full requirements, the conditions of participation and the award criteria are set out in the RFQ document, the Pricing Schedule and the Project Brief attached to this notice. As part of the optional pricing the University is seeking prices for RIBA Stage 2 Concept Design. Any Stage 2 award is at the University’s discretion, subject to available funding, and the University reserves the right to pursue other procurement options.
