This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of Gloucestershire Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) / NHS England South West's (the Commissioner's), intention to commission additional NHS Tier 2 Oral Surgery services. The procurement is likely to be divided into lots but are still to be determined. Oral surgery deals with the diagnosis and management of pathology of the mouth and jaws that requires surgical intervention. It involves the treatment of children, adolescents and adults, and the management of dentally anxious and medically complex patients. The services will provide Level 2 Oral Surgery for patients, either residing in or currently under the care of a General Dental Practitioner (GDP), in Gloucestershire. The contract term is planned to commence from End Nov 2024 and end on 31st March 2026. Gloucestershire's longer term commissioning of additional NHS Tier 2 Oral Surgery services from 1st April 2026 will take place under a separate procurement process. The maximum total contract values are anticipated to be £300,000. The procurement is anticipated to be published WC 30th September 2024. Further details to be confirmed.
