Powys County Council is currently developing a tender process to appoint contractors to undertake verge maintenance (grass cutting) on it's County Urban and Rural road network. The procurement is anticipated to be published shortly, with service commencement from 1st April 2027. This lot is sub-divided into three geographic lots: - Lot 1.1 - North Rural Verge Maintenance - approx. 2,200km of road network - Lot 1.2 - Mid Rural Verge Maintenance - approx. 1,200km of road network - Lot 1.3 - South Rural Verge Maintenance - approx. 1,200km of road network

This lot is sub-divided into seven geographic lots: - Lot 2.1 - North Central Urban Verge Maintenance - approx. 165,000m2 - Lot 2.2 - North East Urban Verge Maintenance - approx. 135,000m2 - Lot 2.3 - North West Urban Verge Maintenance - approx. 55,000m2 - Lot 2.4 - Mid East Urban Verge Maintenance - approx. 95,000m2 - Lot 2.5 - Mid West Urban Verge Maintenance - approx. 70,000m2 - Lot 2.6 - South East Urban Verge Maintenance - approx. 60,000m2 - Lot 2.7 - South Central Urban Verge Maintenance - approx. 70,000m2
