Strengthening Cultural Capability and Trauma Informed Care in Women’s Health The work has a specific focus on three linked problems: women not being listened to, the under recognition and normalisation of procedural pain, and the disproportionate impact of both on women from the Global Majority. Aims and objectives: 1. To improve how the women’s health workforce listens and responds to women, recognises and acts on pain, and delivers culturally competent care. 2. To build lasting training capacity in every NHS England region rather than deliver a one off national course. 3. To give integrated care boards practical guidance so they can sustain local delivery and commission further work in this area themselves. 4. To ensure the programme is shaped by the experience of the workforce and by what women have told NHS England, including women from Global Majority communities and women from the Core20 population. 5. To leave NHS England owning a complete and refreshable set of materials that can be updated as the capability framework develops. The maximum financial envelope for the full duration of the Contract including all extensions this is £175,000.00 (Exclusive of VAT). The initial contract term shall commence upon signing by the authority and conclude 31st March 2027. The Contract may be extended by election of the Contracting Authority, on such notice and for such periods as is specified by the Contract. The Contracting Authority will enter into a contract with 1 provider. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is Friday 30th October 2026 at 12:0pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise. The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITT.
