Award Criteria

The evaluation will be based upon two stages within a single RFQ Response Document and will have two key areas consisting of: • A Mandatory 'Procurement Specific Questionnaire' (PSQ); and • An RFQ 'Award' section, made up of: o Financial Evaluation o Qualitative Evaluation Questions Only those Quotes that meet the qualifying criteria (as set out in the 'PSQ') will then progress to the RFQ 'Award' criteria assessment stage. Each question which is scored will have a weighting applied to it - to view the weighting allocated, please see the individual questions or refer to the right-hand column of Table 2 above, which is a summary of the sections. The Organisations response to each scored question at Schedule 2 PSQ Questions and scored questions at Schedule 5 are/is scored between 0 and 10 according to the pre-agreed scoring grid. For each question the actual score given is divided by the maximum score possible, then multiplied by the weighting. Actual score / Max score allowed X question weighting = score The sum of all of the derived percentages as awarded on the Qualitative and Financial criteria allows final ranking of Suppliers

1.1 Cheshire East Council ("the Council") requires a single contractor to provide services associated with the construction of a concrete wheeled sports facility at The Carrs Wilmslow, SK9 4AA 1.2 The Carrs is one of the main open spaces within Wilmslow, in 2025 the steel wheeled sports facility was inspected and found to be end of life due to excessive corrosion as a result the facility was removed. NB - The Terms & Conditions for this procurement will be under a JCT Minor Works Contract with Contractors Design. 2024 version.
