The Authority intends to appoint one or more appropriately qualified and experienced suppliers to deliver the design, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and ongoing support of commercial gym and studio equipment across its portfolio of leisure and wellbeing facilities. The framework will enable the renewal and enhancement of fitness services across a range of sites operated or commissioned by the Authority. The scope includes, but is not limited to: • Cardiovascular equipment • Strength training equipment (pin selected, plate loaded, racks, benches and free weights) • Functional training and conditioning equipment • Associated digital platforms where applicable • Training, maintenance, servicing and lifecycle support The indicative framework value is in the region of £7m (inclusive of VAT), subject to final scope and delivery programme. The framework agreement will have a duration of four years. Individual call-off contracts awarded under the framework may extend beyond the framework term and may include optional extension periods, subject to performance and operational requirements. The framework will be divided into the below Lots: • Lot 1 – Cardio Equipment (Including Pin-Selected) to include Digital fitness platforms and integration • Lot 2 – Strength Equipment • Lot 3 – Functional and Studio Equipment • Lot 4 – Group Cycle Bikes (Studios) Suppliers have the ability to apply for one, several or all Lots depending on their capacity to deliver the required services. Each Lot will be evaluated separately. Only one Supplier will be awarded each Lot. The Authority reserves the right to award multiple Lots to the same Supplier, or to award different Lots to different Suppliers.
• Cardio equipment must include touchscreen options, available across all primary equipment types, including treadmills, ellipticals, upright and recumbent bikes, climbers, and equivalent cardiovascular equipment. • Pin selected machines must include a user display. • Cardio & Pin Selected equipment must have integration or configurable with a single digital fitness platform including mobile application. • Suppliers shall provide energy-efficient equipment options and identify any self-powered solutions available within their product range. • Single digital platform must have integration with body composition analysis equipment

• Plate loaded machines • Racks, benches and frames • Free weights including dumbbells, barbells, Olympic bars, grip discs and bumper plates • Cable machines • Associated accessories for the above-named equipment

Functional Equipment • Functional training equipment and accessories suitable for individual, small group and circuit based training • Modular rigs, frames and functional training systems designed to support scalable and adaptable workout formats • Supply of 3rd Party Equipment for individual equipment such as rowers, ski ergs watt / assault bikes or own brand equivalent Studio Equipment • Functional studio based equipment to support group exercise and holistic training activities for a broad range of users and abilities, with options to support progression, regression and safe independent use • Storage solutions for a wide range of equipment, including wall mounted and freestanding

• Group cycle bikes designed for use within dedicated indoor cycling studios and programmed group exercise environments • Commercial grade equipment suitable for high frequency, instructor led and virtual cycling sessions • Provision of an enhanced digital experience, incorporating instructor-led and virtual class content and personal fitness tracking functionality. This will be considered an added value feature rather than a mandatory requirement. • Provision of accredited training opportunities relating to the group cycle offer and digital experience described above. This will be considered an added value feature rather than a mandatory requirement.
