This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of Contract Award Notice. The contract has been awarded in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.The contract for the Provision of Insourced Services for the Northern Care Alliance (C386533) relates to an existing service requirement of the Trust. The successful provider, Venture Health Group Ltd, is a new provider of this service.Following completion of the competitive process, an unsuccessful supplier submitted a representation during the standstill period, which was subsequently referred to the Independent Patient Choice and Procurement Panel (IPCPP) for review.The IPCPP published its advice on 27 May 2026. Having carefully considered the Panel’s findings and recommendations, the Trust decided to proceed with the contract award to Venture Health Group Ltd, as originally intended.This decision was approved through the Trust’s established governance arrangements, specifically the Northern Care Alliance Finance and Performance Committee.There were no declared or potential conflict of interest of the individuals involved in making the decision.
