Award Criteria

Tenders will be evaluated against the following weighted criteria: Criterion Weighting Basis of Assessment Financial Proposal (Price) 50% Completed Appendix A and Appendix B pricing, assessed for completeness, competitiveness and value for money. Quality & Operational Capability 30% Technical Proposal (methodology, PPM frequency, response arrangements, logbook/reporting system, mobilisation plan). Experience & References 20% Relevant experience, particularly with public sector or local authority clients, and quality of references provided. The Council reserves the right not to award the Contract to the lowest-priced tender, and to award on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender as determined by the above weighting

Trowbridge Town Council ("the Council") invites tenders from competent and qualified contractors for the provision of testing, inspection, planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and monitoring of the following systems: Fire alarm systems Intruder alarm systems Monitoring of fire and intruder alarms Controlled access (fob/code entry) systems Emergency lighting systems Portable fire extinguishers Annual fire risk assessments This service is required across seven Council sites ("the Sites") for an initial period of 3 years, with the option for the Council to extend for a further period of up to 2 years. The Council is committed to safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of residents, staff and visitors, and to maintaining full compliance with: BS 9999 - Fire safety in the design, management and use of buildings Approved Document B - Fire safety (Building Regulations) The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 BS 5266-1 - Emergency lighting
