DAERA Forest Service are seeking to establish a Framework Agreement to appoint a list of Suppliers to carry out a programme of various services across Forest Services sites in Northern Ireland – including Scrub Clearance and Re-spacing on previously planted or protected sites which now have adverse competition from woody shoots, and regenerating conifers/broadleaved trees and Invasive plant clearance on commercial forests, woodlands or other protected sites. Work will be allocated within the 3 Lots within this Framework: Lot 1 - Scrub Clearance, Re-Spacing of Commercial Forest Crops and Clearance of Invasive Plant Species – Antrim/Derry; Lot 2 – Scrub Clearance, Re-Spacing of Commercial Forest Crops and Clearance of Invasive Plant Species – Tyrone/Fermanagh; Lot 3 - Scrub Clearance, Re-Spacing of Commercial Forest Crops and Clearance of Invasive Plant Species – Armagh/Down. There are no restrictions on the number of Lots Suppliers can bid for or be awarded. Therefore, they may tender for any Lot they wish. Full details of the services required are set out within the Specification schedule.
